Well, I arrived in Green Bay around 1030 local time. I drove 16 hours straight only stopping for fuel and restroom breaks, 1050 miles. No I did not violate the HOS, I was in a rental car. The Prius made a believer out of me. I have always been someone who looked at them and turned my nose up. But, I came all the way here from Charlotte on 19 gallons of gas. That did not include the fill up before I turned it in. So if I add that in it took 28 gallons total. Average MPG is 37.5, not to bad for cold air and an additional 250 - 300 pounds of luggage in the back. Had the cruise set around 70ish the whole way, sometimes a little faster, and others a little slower. Including all the stops I made along the way I managed 65 mph average.

A couple good things about running so hard to get here. First, I am dead tired and trying to stay awake so I can break the third shift schedule I have been on for the last 8 months. Second, gentleroger was here when I got here and was very accommodating. He led me to the rental car return and took me to a nice pub for a good sandwich. BTW, thanks again for chow. It is always nice to put a face with a name on here.

I stopped by Lambeau Field and took a couple pics, and I went by the DTC and found my truck, had a chance to look at it for just a couple minutes before the cold wind was killing my southern bones...I am not use to this cold. Will get a better chance to look at it tomorrow inside the building. Will post the pics tomorrow. Until next time

Day one in Green Bay is in the books. The usual contracts and meet and greets. Got to spend a good bit of time going over the truck. Man is this thing nice. I will post pics in a bit once I get on my laptop. Found a few small issues that will need fixed before I roll out. Everything looks good. Man did I mention how nice this thing is. Lol. 4 company to ic transfers here. Plus two new hires. They lost a few new hire ic guys to pre work screen. Should be an easy day tomorrow. Road test at 9 am. I get to sleep in... Pics up in a bit...

What are the issues in the pre-work screen that cause guys to get sent packing?

Not be Debby downer but reason the shops install power inverters, they have schematics on how to properly install one and not infer with the trucks electronics.. When drivers install them there's a higher chance they burn there trucks down. If u install one use the proper size wiring and have a good inline fuse installed. Schneider hasn't used invertor for cpap for almost 2 years. They upgraded the cpap machine to the S9 with a 12 volt plug. If driver has Battery issue they issue a Battery with invertor attached to use it at night. During day you plug in it to charge
