Location for the night

Somerset Pa service area..bumper cars here do to a bit of snow.

 

Just delivered to P&G in Browns Summit, Nc..Then I walked home lol

 

Sitting at the truck stop in Morehead KY. Got totally screwed for the first time in the 3 months. Guess that isn't bad. Delivered to Walmart in London KY. No empties. Found one, but some Schneider driver comes walking up yelling that's his trailer and don't even think about taking it, that he had to drop it to go into the service bay. Whatever assbag. 3 hours later I finally get my box assignment after numerous calls. BT 120 miles to Morehead KY. Get 2/3's of the way and I get my assignment pulled from me because I wouldn't have made it there on time. Was supposed to be a preload but last driver bobtailed in and they had no empty to preload (thanks pal).

Of course, show up at Family Dollar after 120 pointless miles and my "confirmed empty" is nowhere to be found. Was about ready to refuse to go there in the first place because how many Schneider drivers are going to be in and out of that family dollar grabbing empty trailers by the time I drive 2+ hours to get there? Lucky for me a Schneider picking up a pallet load dropped an empty before I left so snatched that up.

Now that I got my good preassignment to Laredo pulled, go on load board and only good freight is going to Northeast. #### that. Not getting stuck up there for Xmas. Ended up just booking a so so load into SC and then a cheap ### load back to Ohio so I can work my way home for the holidays

 

Just rolled into Charlotte if anyone is up here

 

Got back to idaho falls tonight. I head home in the morning going to take until next Tuesday off.
