Nope. No TWT terminals up that way. Closest one would be the one I run out of, Trinity, AL. Not sure if A&R has a terminal up that way or not. Don't know about whether they have the VA program or not either. I have read some good things about them tho. They're dry bulk, pneumatic tanker.

I will check out A&R and see if they work with the VA.. The VA is a make or break..

Well if they let me use my mom-in-law home add in lejeune which is an hr away north, then i should be good to go too. Prob is my residence and dl is FL. Last time i checked florida rock and tank was a wk ago and they required at least 2 yrs exp or 1 yr exp plus "approved" cdl school

Tidewater Transit will hire recent grads but from approved schools and you need to have finished at the top in the class.
Also Superior Carrier hires from approved schools.

Might work. Probably just have to talk with the terminal manager. After my initial conversation with a recruiter at the main terminal, all other discussions/interviews were with the manager of the terminal I was going to run out of.

I'm currently finishing my CDL training with Prime Inc. and I was going to go with their tanker training but Tidewater-Transit has a terminal 10 minutes from my house. I emailed the recruiter yesterday afternoon and she said they did hire recent grads so I'm going to call her tomorrow morning and get some information on the company and what I need to do to get hired on with TWT. I have my tanker endorsement and TWIX card but do not have my hazmat endorsement yet but it was stated on their website you at least must be able to obtain the hazmat which is not a problem. Would any of you TWT guys past or present recommend TWT over Prime? Thanks in advance for the information and help.
