Yesterday we got to the Houston OC at 3:30pm dropped the loaded trailer picked up an empty took it to a plant and then had to watch a safety video and take a test to enter the plant took an hour and a half got our badges dropped trailer and returned badges which took 10 minutes then rushed back to the OC bobtail picked up a Nalco hazmat load which my TE has to drive cause I don't have hazmat yet, and stopped in San Antonio last night now on our way to Laredo to get it inspected so they can have someone pick it up and take it to Mexico. So yesterday was a fun day.

Well took a few other loads since last time I posted worst was a hazmat load we picked up at 6am in Houston, took it to Hahnville, LA to a plant got there at 1pm had to take our 10 hour break out front of the plant cause unload was at 11pm well finally at 1am they told us they wouldn't be ready to unload until 9am so we were sent to Reserve to drop it off and take another load back here to Houston. Then this morning take an empty to get loaded then drop it back off at Houston and now my TE is gone for his 3 days off and I am stuck trying to get Schneider to get me a hotel since I am still in training and my SQT's aren't until Tuesday

They finally did get me a hotel and he didn't really dump me at the terminal he had to go home to his family and said if I wanted I could stay in the truck if didn't get a hotel and SQT's are the skills qualifications test where they test u to make sure u can do everything their way, it's a road test plus pre trip, post trip, coupling and uncoupling and lastly air and pump unloading

Seems like alot of sitting. A 6sm pickup for a load you could get there by 1pm, which didnt unload until 11pm. Were you actually able to sleep or did you end up driving tired?
-
We picked it up at 6am drove there got there at 1pm went to sleep until 10:30 waited until 1am to find out they wouldn't be ready until 9am so we parked back in front of the plant and went back to sleep until 5:30am then drove to reserve and picked up an empty trailer and took it to get loaded at 8am and drove it back to Houston
