I guess the IC guys do get more miles. That's 350 miles/week over a long term average. I don't know any SNI company bulk drivers who get that many. Of course, a lot of company guys don't even know how many miles they get, or fuel stats, or anything else. They just drive and cash the check. That's probably not the case for IC.

    No it isnt lol.
I started to write up a documnet on how to be a sucessful O/O or L/O. I got to 3 pages and really decided that there is too much info.

Time and money management are the first two skills to master or you will fail.

I see you got my little joke. Most people miss 'em.

Anyway, I plan to go o/o soon. Everyone says, about that one year lease thing, "Be Afraid. Be Very Afraid." They also say SNI is NOT one those companies who rip off drivers on purpose.

I've been in touch with recruiters, and SNI Finance, and have got downloads of several different business plans and cash flow spreadsheets, and it all looks rosy. I just don't believe the numbers they use. They are all based on 2500 miles/week. I'm glad you are making that, if only barely.

I stay out months at a time, keep all my MAC17's and other "paperwork" all up to date, and even stay on them to keep me moving, and I still rarely break 2500, much less average that many. I'm in the middle of a 2 day squat in a Loves parking lot waiting to deliver right now. And I have almost the highest average miles on my board. Or so they tell me. That's why I have a hard time believing those numbers they use.

The only reason my avg miles are that low is because I had 2 1,600 mile weeks due to home time (3 day weekends). Even on a 1,600 week, I still had deposits of just over $800. My two biggest weeks were over 3,500 miles and and saw deposits north of $2k.

There is money to be made, just have to put forth the effort.
