I hear ya on that! Always kinda left me feeling a bit uncertain when my DBL was away because he always did what he said he would do.. Most of them do anyway but when ya don't know them ... your kinda left in the dark.

Crapp! My short day is quickly turning into a long day. Been at shipper now over 2 hours and still behind 5 other trucks waiting to get loaded. Very large company here and they only have 1 guy loading and now he has gone to lunch! It gets me so frustrated it gets funny after awhile seeing how these places operate. Not all shippers are like that. But the ones that are I just have to relax and laugh about it doesn't help otherwise..

That's all we can do bear it grin it. The union workers are the worst. Seems like a break every 15 mins. And if some goes in and finish the process they get reported to union reps.

I had 22 palletes of copy paper unloaded in 25 minutes by 3 guys in their 50's with 2 of them tailgating the load with a pallet jack and the 3rd taking it of with a forklift to set on the ground(no dock)
Tomorrow I got to a food plant with an estimated wait time of almost four hours to load. Drives me nuts

It's working okay, just seems slower than when Vesta is there. With her, I generally have a preassign less than halfway through...I've been at my final delivery at least once. One I could blame on support shift, though.

She does. She deserves a vacation, dealing with us, but I want her back!!

Also, my reminder message got the reply from 2d shift that there's nothing 'in my calendar' about this being my weekend home. I hope it's just that they don't have access to the info...it's gonna suck, having to get a rental to get home for the granddaughter's b-day.
