Running With Schneider - 2 (As IC Choice for more than a year now!)

CB won't do much for ya when your 700 miles away..mine can't reach that far! Think we got off track here ..was talking about getting alerts in advanced before you pick a load that would take you into a a bad situation where the road had been blocked for days. wishful thinking..sometimes just cant' avoid situations like I-15 getting washed away and road closed for days on end.

 

But then again maybe there is an app for that thing you call a CB! Should be! : 0

 

It can be done! Spoke with driver today that does it. Don't want to write it all out here but you should be able to talk to your ICA about it and they will explain. If not your SFI rep should know.

 

After easy Day Monday, Went on over to Dupont WA and picked up a light load, 10,000 lb, with 5 drops, ending the run in Grand Forks ND. Been a nice drive and got to meet up with a long time friend who just happen to be trucking out to Quincy WA.

Heading into my first drop this morning near Rapid City SD then on to the 2nd drop for the following day up in ND.

Made the first drop, then finished out the rest of the next day up in ND with 4 more drops. It all worked out pretty well! Even had enough time to do another extra stop they threw in there last minute on Friday. Another $100 bucks added to the load! I'll take it! After that was all done I headed East and picked up a load out of WI going to Gas City IN.

Yesterday, on the way to my delivery stopped by the Gary OC.. Did a quick laundry, shower and had a flat fixed on the trailer and then grabbed a little lunch and on down to delivery! Bada bing Bada Boom! Then with enough time left over went to my next pick up near Fort Wayne IN.. This load had a special service request ..Bobtail only! Love when that happens .. No trailer search and no problem parking near the customer for tomorrow morning Pickup. Ended up parking at Duffy's Bar and Grill.. Watch the rest of the Seattle/Denver game and had dinner! Pretty cool spot.
