Haven't seen a purple volvo, then again I haven't moved from the sleeper yet today LOL. I'm in the back row, grey cascadia with 1 hood mirror. I'll still be up then so come bang on my door.

Been a awhile since I've updated. We have some good news. the crumbling paving potholes have been filled in. makes for a smoother ride into and out of the facility.

Alum creek is closer than ever to being fully paved and finished with construction. top cap of paving is being laid , so be aware and look for the new cone set ups that will change as needed.

well, company car gets you to a shower at the pilot at I70 ex 92 or is it 94, or out to the J atI70 ex 122. Also to any stores or other restaurants you might want to hit.
Food for thought for next time.

How come its taken so long for them to complete that job? The construction there has been going on since I started with SNI if I remember correctly, have they had to just redo it multiple times, run out of money, or?? Just curious.

well, it was a complete reconstruction and widening of that mile or so stretch above williams. sewers and electric poles, added paved "sidewalks" new concrete approaches for every business and house. Lot went into it. Construction included widening of the intersections as well. So from a two lane road we get a 4 lane with a center turn lane to boot for the entire stretch. Couple all that with the brutal winter and cold we had , I think they have done a good job, all things considered.

it does beat obetz for offerings. AC in the lounge, showers, laundry,24hr restaurant. those are the pros,
cons, no shop in case trailer or tractor develops a problem, no free wifi, no company car to use.
