Sitting here in MA waiting for my live load to finish. Super easy run, 280 miles for $840. Got two loads booked for today, hope to finish the pay week strong, since I only worked four days. If all goes according to plan I'll bring in $3889.

Puppage, TennMan and Drifter42 Thank this.

Managed to finish both loads today! Hopefully they all make it on this weeks check.
Long day though, 600 miles and four
    d/h.
Truck threw up the lights and codes again today. Blah.....
    Whooped.... Night.......

    Drifter42 Thanks this.

    Work it brother!

Those 2 loads a day pay great but run you ragged.
But all is forgotten when your settlement sheet comes in.

    TennMan Thanks this.

Well. Woke up this morning ready to rock the three day short week and the truck said no. Check engine and mil light still on, truck has no power going up hills, struggling at 45 mph with an empty. So I had all my loads pulled and I'm sitting here at the freightliner in Binghamton NY waiting.
The life of a trucker, ain't it grand.

Grijon, Drifter42 and atruckr Thank this.

Almost sounds like it's a regen or def issue has caused it to derate. Hope for a quick fix.

Got truck back, they cleared codes and did a regen. They can't find anything physically wrong. They think the def system is reaching the end of it's life and will need replaced. Cost is $10k+..... Truck can't seem to always do a regen by itself and they say it's because the def system is almost full and the holes in the def box are all almost clogged. I got SFI involved and they are working with Schneider to see what can be done. Truck runs great, again, but should throw codes and derate again in one to two weeks. The saga continues......
I'm home until Sunday, house stuff and some time off......

    Grijon Thanks this.

Have you tried driving faster to heat everything up? Not sure how fast you normally drive but kick it up to 70 or 75 for a day and see if that helps. Blow the cobwebs outta the motor.
