As long as it's safe, I'll drive it. If I gotta clean it, so be it. I do it anyway, so I really don't care. I put my own mattress in because I want to be comfortable. A decent twin pillow top will cost around $300.
mickimause and Boardhauler Thank this. -
Slips in puts cheese and crackers on the table

Not trying to be an *** here but basically what you are getting at is that you've been here a year, you haven't been given the best trucks and so you what you want to do is tell SNI "give me a T680 or I'm leaving" and see how that works out for you? Yeahhhh... ok.
What's gonna happen when you get the T680 that was driven by the same nasty slob that previously drove your Cascadia? Why not just go get a comfortable mattress.wannabe trckin again Thanks this. -
If the uncomfortable bed is your biggest complaint buy your own mattress any twin size will fit . I'm willing to bet your company t680 have the same mattress the freightliner has because your company probably changes them out when someone turns a truck in and I'm sure they buy the cheapest mattresses they can find by the truckload

Here's an idea: if you want a T680 why don't you go buy or lease one? Understand that you're a company driver and your company will give you what's available for you to drive and make them money. Expecting the truck you want when you want it is unreasonable, especially since you're inexperienced. If you don't like what you're given get your own. I'm sure Schneider would be more than willing to throw you into a lease program where you're responsible for everything. Or try to find another company that will cater to your (unrealistic) needs.
