    Can some one tell me how this account works? I was told it is slip seat and I was wanting to know more about that as well.

    Surely you wouldn't change trucks everyday. I was told drive 5 days be off two, wouldn't you be in the same truck those 5 days?

    when you go home you clean out the truck and when you come back your assigned whatever truck is available. most likely different one.

    Is it for Schneider or USX? I would want to drive for USX because they get more miles than the Schneider drivers.

    Seeing as how this is in the Schneider section of the forum, and since I've been there a dozen times as a Schneider driver, I will say that he is talking about Schneider.
    As for amount of miles, it's really up to the person, Schneider has more than enough freight to keep people moving (yes, wal-mart accounts included). I'm sure USX does too, but it all boils down which system you fit better with. Stop projecting and assuming things please.

    Yea, Im suppose to be in charlotte for orientation and training on july 29th. So Schneider will be my choice! I like pumpkin. Just wanted to know more about how it's run. I think I will be 5 on 2 off and have to drive home from there on my vehicle. Just hope I don't switch trucks evrytime I go home.

    On this particular account, USX gets first pick of what loads they want. It doesn't matter whether its dry or perishable.

    Yea, I don't see what advantage that would be. They all going to wal mart or sams club other than some are easier to get to than others. I just want to know if I will be using the same truck everytime I come back in from hometime, if nor how does that work.

    If you slip seat each time back in you may get a different truck. It all depends on whats available when you come back. You will have to clean out the truck for the next driver.
