    The more the merrier glenn71.

Made it to Baker CA. 582 miles today. Used 10 driving hours to drive. That included the 268 miles for the detour around Mesquite. Wanted to get around the detour early as I could. I trip planned 4 hours for the extra miles. Took 4 1/2 hours for the detour. Took SR 56 off of 15 to NV 319 to 93 back to 15. Watch your speed through the small towns, speed limit is only 25. Police sitting at both ends of town. They were busy. State Patrol was also out in force.

Made it to Redlands a couple hours early. No empties. Bobtail to Fontana. Waiting for pre assignment.

Start the truck this morning, and the dash lights up like a Christmas tree. Both check engine lights come on along with stop engine light. 3 faults codes.

2 faults were for coolant level. Coolant level fine. Of course that frigging DEF light is back on. WTF.
The 2 coolant lights go and off after a couple minutes. Most likely a bad sensor. Truck seems to be running fine.

When I get to Fontana, take it to maintaince to have them take a look at problem. Changing sensor for coolant. Don't know about the DEF problem yet. We will see what's next. Not sure why the factory mechanic in SLC can't solve the problem. He has worked on the problem twice and still keeps coming back. Both times takes full days to work on it.

Truck done. Talked with head mechanic and he said that I could run with DEF problem or have them fix it, but not till tomorrow. Should only take a couple hours. I told him, let me see my pre assignments and I would let him know.

How can it take 1 mechanic 2 hours and another all day and 2 tries and still not fix the problem? The mechanic in SLC is a factory guy and not SNI. Gets paid by FL, that's how.

Got my next pre assignment. From Fontana to Albany OR. A nice 936 miles trip to start the week off.

Not Leaving Fontana till about 10:00, so maintenance can fix my DEF problem. Still have plenty of time to make appointment. Doesn't have to be there until the 16th.

Last week I got 2464 miles. That was with sitting in SLC for a day and a half.

527 miles today. Didn't leave Fontana until 11:00. Stopped in Corning for the night.

I hope the DEF problem is behind me. Truck ran great today and no Christmas tree lights on the dash. Life is good.

426 miles today. Made it to Albany, couple hours ahead of schedule. No MT at location. The nearest one is 304 miles away. Have to wait till morning to see if they get some unloaded overnight to take. I saw the handwriting on the wall when I pulled up and 2 other SNI drivers were leaving bobtail.

Got pre assignment for tomorrow. P/U in Eugene and DP in Stockton. Both live loads. 560 mile run. Don't have to be in Stockton till 2:00PM on 9/17. Easy run. Just have to figure out the MT issue in the morning.

580 miles yesterday. The last 3 out of 4 nights slept at the Loves T/S in Corning. Made it to DuPont WA last night. Should be only an hour drive to Bellevue. Depending on Seattle traffic.

Not to far from the house. Nice to be able to sleep in my own bed.

Made it to appointment at 09:30. Guard tells me, the appointment is for 13:30. Workflow shows open. WHAT.....CRAP..... Here I sit. CRAP.....

Do you ever come to the Everett, WA area? I see Schneider trucks parked near Boeing on occasion.
