Orientation will very on ending time. You can count on being out by 5:00PM for the most part. We had a couple days we were out at 3:30PM. During week 1, you will drive about an 1 hour a day and practice backing for 2 hours everyday. Rest of the day is classroom. Lunch is about an hour a day. Week 2, you do most of driving. Week 3, you continue to practice backing and driving for about 3 hours a day. Also, you will test out on Thursdays. If something goes wrong, you will try again on Friday. SNI really puts a effort into helping you succeed. They have an investment in you, and will work with you to make you a success.

Hit the road today. Got a load from Portland to Spokane WA with delivery at 07:00AM. Already parked at location for tomorrow. 378 miles. Got preload for Spokane to Lewiston ID to Sparks NV. Nice 769 miles run. Nice way to start out.

Just out of curiosity, mind if I ask what part of Washington you're from? I'm in Granite Falls, about 40 miles Northeast of Seattle. The reason i ask is I'm wondering how they work your home time. Do you take the truck home or to a terminal? If to a terminal, how many miles do you have to drive your car to get home? -
I live in Gig Harbor. I will leave the truck in Sumner during home time. About 45 minutes to my house. SNI has a drop lot about a mile off SR 167 on 140 Ave and 20 St. I am not completely positive, but I think they also have a drop lot near Seattle. I' ll try to find out for sure. You do have to leave the vehicle at a drop lot or OC (Operating Center) for home time.
knuckledragger Thanks this.
