Sitting at the Pilot at Kramers Corner, Boron, CA for the night. Leaving out of here at 5am or so. Stop by and say hi, you should be able to make it here by then, and you should be running right by this place.

Drove only 153 miles today. This was due to the 3 live loads. All 3 live loads were deck loaded into the trailer. The place in San Pedro was a zoo. The other 2 were nothing. The load only weights 13.6K. Filled all the way to the last 3 feet of the trailer. Sure glad it's a D/H tomorrow.

I will post some pictures. Learned a valuable lesson today. NEVER trust what a loading dock worker says. You will see why.

View attachment 73758 This is what the load looked like after the workers deck loaded all the boxes. I was told by the docker worker " the boxes never move." I told them I have load straps. He says "you will be fine."
View attachment 73759 "I'm fine" he says!!!!! I spent 1/2 hour somewhat restacking the boxes. I gave up. The second P/U just built a wall with their boxes to keep them from falling again.
! View attachment 73760 All the way to the rear of the trailer. I don't want to be there when they open the doors.

Your pics reminded me of a an Amazon load out of Dallas we picked up. We normally don't see what the load looks like inside.

I have done that run too. Clothing boxes that weigh almost nothing. By my third stop, they were cramming boxes to the he ceiling and all the way back to the door, and still couldn't fit it all. Took forever to load, and yes that place is a zoo, with no room to maneuver.

Sorry I missed you Greg. I left Fontana at about 1600. Will be back on Saturday with a relay load.

They gave me a newer truck today. KW T680? Much bigger inside than my old flat roof Cascadia, but still only one bunk. It will take some getting used to. Currently in a thunderstorm in Shafter ;CA. Pretty good rain for a change.
