taugust-You can park on street outside property before and after. Get your 10 in while waiting. Can arrive a hour early at gate. Will be busy at that time. Count on lumper fee and waiting 4-5 hours to unload. Have to use phone at gate to talk w/security. You will need appt # that starts with 144 when talking on the phone. Drive around back to get to Recieving. Guard will give you 4 digit code to get into shipping office. Recieving office is near dock 5, I believe.

So that's how it goes for team. Not sure if the last load will pay this week or next but it's still over 7K either way. We have had a lot of reassignments pop up only to be changed before we start them. Some of the loads we get are "dropped" loads when another team can't make it. On a good note we are receiving a 3 cpm raise starting the 1st of April.

Thanks for the info, Greg. I was planning on doing the unload on break, as you suggested. I am in Winnemucca NV now, so its only about 7 hours to get there.

475 miles today. Decided to drive to Garden Grove to spend the night outside the reciever. Was going to stop at Fontana for the night, but did not want to fight traffic in the AM and burn my whole day at the dock.

After sitting at docks most of the day, I drove 194 miles today. After my delivered my live load this AM, I was assigned another live load 6 miles away in Orange. Take this D/H, 360 miles to Tracy. Should be there late morning. Stopped in Lost Hills for the night.
2106 miles last week. That is with 2 1/2 days of TAH. The first 2 days back, I got only 192 miles in. Had a PM done also. The best part, I was able to sleep in my own bed for 5 nights.Last edited: Mar 31, 2015

396 miles today. After delivery, DH, 122 miles Fresno for a live load. Have a live load when I go 765 miles to Spanish Fork, UT. Live load in Fresno only took a little over an hour to load. Not bad at all. Stopped in Bakersfield at the F/J for the night.

409 miles today. Did not get as far as I wanted. Got to St George UT. Had to get my #10 drive tire replaced in Vegas. Had a 4 inch gash on the inside wall. I am sure I picked up a piece of metal at the scrap yard I was at yesterday. Was not blow out, just went flat. Took 3 hours to replace at the Petro.

385 miles today. After my live load, I DH 51 miles to SLC for a D/H. The D/H was going 59 miles to Bear River City.
After my D/H, my load is not ready till 03:00 tomorrow. I headed to Brigham City for the night. About 8 miles away. My P/U will be a 2 stop live load. The first stop is 706 miles to Milwaukie OR. The 2nd stop is 179 miles in Seattle. I may be able to sneak a night or two in my own bed while I am up there if all goes well. -
525 miles today. Made it to Stanfield OR. Will drive the last 170 miles tomorrow. Will spend the night at the Portland OC. My appointment in not till Monday at 05:00.

409 miles today. From Sumner, I had a D/H headed 989 miles to Shafter CA. Stopped in Central Point OR for the night.
After My live load in Seattle on Monday, I decided to stay home 2 days. Wasn't planned. On Monday, I drove 207 miles from Portland to Milwaukie to Seattle. On Sunday, I drove 175 miles from Stanfield OR to Portland OC and spent the night.
Last week I drove 2824 miles. That was with 2 days with less than 200 miles driven in each day. Not bad after all.drvrtech77, warhippy and Clamhammer Thank this.
