Tell me about it brother what do you think of it? May i ask what your weekly payment (fixed costs are)? How much did you put down? I was considering used but it seems like i'll still pay close to the same and if thats the case id rather just get the new tractor and not have to worry if the last driver dogged it out

Hey Glen Burnie..you're right down the road from me.
Anyways..as for the T680..I love it..best riding truck I've ever been in.
Turns well, quiet inside well laid out..could use a bit more cabinet space but I'll live.
MPG is great and pulls good.

My payment is $1048/week all in..I went new for the same reason.
You never know what you're getting with used..sure most of them are in good shape but every now and then one of them is a turd.
I didn't want to take that chance.

The payment is the same as the Freightshaker EVO's but you have to lease longer and put money down.
The used trucks cost as much as a new one due to the higher maintenance contribution.

IMO go new if you're going to lease.
I was going to buy new but chose to lease due to tax savings.
I'm doing well with no regrets. IMG_20140611_094227_586.jpg

You'll only need 5K to put down..save the rest.
Yes they spec them with the Paccar..but you can probably get a cummins if you really wanted one.
The cummins are heavy though..read through some of the posts.

My truck with full fuel tanks and all my gear + me is 20500.
I haven't had trouble scaling up to 45K..so I don't sweat it..truck came with a load gauge..seems to be dead on.

Im just not a fan of the paccar engines but thats probably because I havent heard much about them and the one i dealt with was in a hyrbrid T370. I want to do the ten if that'll drop weekly payments that'll still leave 5k for a rainy day but if the difference is small ill just pocket that 5k and put it away.

I have the Evo on the tanker side. No money down, full warranty and with all the costs I am at $1425/week. Don't worry about it much. After fuel and all deductions I still clear on average $.65/mile.

On the tank side? Ballpark how many miles do you run?

    A recruiter told nd 2200-2500 a week.

If you don't mind, you must be over $2 a mile to be clearing .65 right?

I keep reading about the legacy and choice for the other divisions.

    Thanks,
