So since this new to bulk 'workflow' software was rolled out it has been a cluster F! If things don't get better soon I'm out of here! They are screwing up my pay, missing loads, waiting for min of a hour to get thru to DBL's. Their still make their money while we get the shaft! Not a Happy Camper right now!

Welcome to trucking. I'm dry can IC, but just FYI if they changed work flow recently and have some bugs, be patient, they are pretty good about making corrections to the system.
harlycharly55 Thanks this. -
I hear ya harlycharly55! I am now sitting at the Quala in Augusta, have been sitting more since workflow started than I have in the almost 6 months of my employment. I told Alex the same thing that at least he was getting his "salaried" check while the drivers are getting the shaft. Local guy who's a million miler with SNBC told me they have lost over 100 drivers because of this and most are 5 plus years. Sad.

Without a doubt the biggest change for me going from Schneider to Trimac is driver utilization. We have one dispatcher, basically a DBL, who dispatches her board of 30 drivers or so. It works so much better. I hardly ever sit. Often I get a choice on what load I want. I was so used to fighting for loads it took a while to adjust.

I'm thinking about leaving as well, this month has been a complete disaster, im lucky to get 1500 miles since they started workflow. But i think there are bigger things going on in snbc. I find it hard to believe workflow is the cause

I was getting that feeling too! Although this 'workflow' is actually MORE work for us as drivers, my DBL even finally admitted it's double the work for them as well, I see it as Schneider doing their best to NOT have to pay detention, layover pay! Since you can't change APPOINTMENT times, getting there early hurts you if your load or unload is over your 2hrs, anything before doesn't count. And I they will have you sitting for 23hrs and then throw a trailer move at you so you can't get the layover! They pulled that on me 3 times! I told my DBL if they do it again, I won't accept the job!

You should try teaching the system to the students lol I'm a TE it's a headache sometimes

Thanks for all the information. I am still in the Army and will retire next year with 22yrs and will get my CDL during my transition leave. I was looking into Tanker and see Orange might be away for me get training and some time under my belt. I would think by next year this will be worked out. I did see you sitting a lot from your post but I assume that you getting some pay and seems like Tanker pays the most as a driver. I see some talk about Trimac but not sure about new drivers. I think some companies give a veteran with 22yrs a chance over a 21yr old but who knows. Once again thanks for your update and will keep following. Jay.

For your 22 years of service to this country.

Well still busy, but more screw ups on my pay! Not happy right now, so far the last three weeks I've been shorted over $700 total. I'm scheduled for home time this week, I'm going to be all over them until this gets straight!
scythe08 Thanks this.
