So, I made it to Houston, I'm at my cousin's house until Sunday, then up to the Red Roof Inn and Monday is orientation! I drove my truck and brought my bike too! Going to get a couple days riding with my cousin.

Red Roof Inn huh, Schneider spares no expense I see, lol.

Good luck to you, definitely decent money pulling a tank.

So today I went by to see where the orientation facility was, found it ok, went by the hotel(so-so) but it will do, all ready to start on Monday! I don't know which are worse Calif. or Texas drivers! Oh well take a deep breath and relax! Focus on SAFETY! Drive SAFELY! Going to ride my Harley with my cousin over the weekend, will be a while before I'll be on it again! Go visit some of my old stomping grounds! I lived here from 71-87 and alot has changed! Stay safe all!

If I was in Houston this weekend, I'd go to NRG Stadium Saturday night and attend the LSU/ Wisconsin game.:biggrin_25517:

Its suposed to be rainy in Houston this weekend, be careful slipping and sliding on that Harley.

Keep us posted on how things go, I'm interested to here your opinion of the fitness test.

    Best of luck!

I'm at the Red Roof Inn, me and another guy sharing the room, we both walked in at the same time at the hotel,(he is ex-airforce i'm ex-army)so we decided to take a room together instead of having them stick us with just anyone, so far its OK. Start the pre-work test thing and paperwork at 7am.

Day 2, Got up this morning to find my POV had been broken into, got my suitcase that had all my cold weather gear in(was all brand new, $600 worth) was the only thing I had in the car, left it out there because I wasn't going to need it until after getting a truck and going out on my own. I should have just brought it in the room! Another person in training got hit too! Sh** happens, pissed at myself! Anyway training went well today, start with driving tomorrow, the said 2 days with a 53' box, then on to the Tankers! Stuffing alot of info in this short time frame but it's all good!

    glenn71 and Doublecutter Thank this.
