So, first time going to Abilene TX, from Joplin MO, and guess what? Doggone interstate 44 turns into a toll road entering OK. Heck all the good interstates in OK are tolls, which SNBC does not cover. :( Somehow, I thought federal interstate meant free highway, Eisenhower system, etc. How do these states take a federal highway and charge it as a toll?

Any suggestions on getting across OK? I took 166 to I34. Most of it two lane rural with tons of tight turns and no shoulders. Very scary, I would think the safety factor would favor paying a toll over these kind of roads.

Schneider will pay for the OK toll roads, -just get a receipt. If you run thru there s lot you can ask your dbl for a PikePass.

Toll roads are self-financed, they don't get tax money (I don't understand how people don't know that)

either pay cash and get a receipt, or get a comcheck and cash it and scan your reciept

You don't have an atlas do you?Are you using a GPS to plan your routes?Start glancing at a map.I understand you wanting to save on toll roads I do the same thing, but some on the hwys are not trucker friendly and some are restricted.I suggest you buy a trucker atlas.

I know it's not free, but just run the toll road. It's around 47 bucks to the Tx. line and then take U.S 277 at Witchita Falls and let the big truck eat all the way to Abilene. I thought SNIO covers Ok. anyway.

Schneider reimburses for tolls. Just submit an expense request just like you would for any other expense you pay out of pocket or also for bulk how you submit detention requests via the expense macro. Just keep your receipts and submit them, no more than 2 tolls per expense barcode

There is a movement at the federal level to allow more and more of this in order to give the responsibility of maintenance to the state or private entity, rather than apply taxpayer funds for the upkeep as is right and proper. In other words, it is a diversionary tactic by the Feds to misappropriate and misuse taxpayer funds.
