Have any Ic's had any problems getting paid for detention, Vnu's etc?

    I don't believe any company actually really pays detention, I think its just a recruiting tool they say to get people in the door

    i've worked for a number of companies and had multiple 12+ hour detentions and they kept changing their story about how to get detention pay so I just assume that it doesn't exist

    (seriously, why are they going to pay you to sit?)

    Because they get paid when the truck has to sit for the most part. I don't want to sit, hell I can make a lot more than $75 going down the road than sitting at a ****ing dock for 8 and half hours. It's not the money really, it's the principle of it all.

    And yes they pay I've been paid multiple times and it sucks big ones because the amount is way less than you can earn driving
