Sorry I can't help it. But tomorrow I get a brand new truck and and $1100 paycheck. No maintenance worries. And neither should you. These L/P threads keep popping up and its hard for me to refrain. I feel your being taking advantage of and many others feel the same.

 

I feel 6 speed is being taken advantage of because his check is only 1100.00

 

I'd love to have an $1100 check. I struggle to gross that

 

My gross this week will be 5024 + and net before taxes but after expenses about 2700 ish

 

and I left on tuesday and will be home sat and sun night and deliver on Monday to finish the week.

 

Interesting. I was talking to my old dbl today when I was coming out of the house and I was mentioning that I was considering choice at some point. He said that in order to make it as an I/C you have to stay out for months at a time. Given how often the I/C's on here go home and the money they say they are making what gives?

 

I live in a great area for being a Truck Driver and I know how to trip plan and Pre plan and I run smart as well as hard. I run as many miles a week as I can for as much per mile as I can which equals Good revenue and Pay. I will say if you want to be IC use your time as a company driver to become an expert at trip planning and when you become an IC become an expert at Pre planning and money management.

 

your DBL doesn't want you to switch. plain and simple

 

Most just dig into there savings. Your still required to pay that lease every week, which is what $800 - $1000 or so with permits. So yeah u can get home as much as u want, u just better have money 💵 to support u while your sitting at home and not making money.
