A question for those of you currently leasing a truck through Schneider:

When leasing a truck from Schneider, do you have to select from whatever they have in stock at that time? Or do they offer a wider selection if you were willing to wait?

For example, if I wanted to lease a 2015 Kenworth T660 Studio Sleeper; would they order it for me?

    Thanks for your help!

I'm sure they will for extra cash since it will be a special order. It may be best to lease a cascadia for a year first before getting a truck with all the bells and whistles just to make sure leasing from schneider is right for you, then after the year is up, you can upgrade, keep the truck or walk away if it isn't a fit. Everyone is different, but having an exit plan is the way to go at first. Don't want to be tied to a 2-3 year lease especially with just a little trucking experience. I myself am glad I started with a 1 year lease. Now 5 months in, I'm debating whether to upgrade to a kw, keep the one I have or go with a new cascadia in 7 months. Still time to consider my options.

Would SFI allow you to upgrade prior to the end of your lease without penalty if you felt the need/desire?

Now that's the question I've been meaning to ask but never had time to post it. It would be nice if sni would allow you to pick what you want.

You can pick whatever kind of truck you want as long as it's a FL,Volvo,KW or Pete.
BUT you will have to put money down if you don't want to wait.
    Premium trucks cost 3-5K down.
Spec'ing a truck the way you want it even more.

It's better to lease for a year or so and then order a truck, they will cut you a better deal.

And yes you can upgrade up to another truck usually after 6 months as long as you're up to date and in good standing with SFI.

I will say that upgrading early is going to be hard, I spoke to my Rep on thursday about getting into a new truck and he said because of the influx of new lease drivers it will be after new year before drivers can upgrade unless their lease comes up before then........They don't have the truck I want anyway so it didn't matter

I was checking there lease out and im just nervouse getting into a lease because of not having a pay check. If anyone could take the time to break it down I wouod appreciate it. Thanks

Yes you can make enough money to be ''successful''.
But as always everyone has a different idea of what that is.
$800/week take home should be easy to as long as you're willing to go after it.
I KNOW I say this a lot but discipline is key.
Also the area you live will help.
