Hey all, As i'm looking to possibly join the pumpkin patch, I was wondering if some of you could help me out a little bit. I checked SFI website but it don't show the inside of the trucks and with it bring a toss up for the KW680 or the Cascadia Evo 2015,
I'm thinking of going with the FL Evo just because it has a better rep out of the new trucks and I don't really want a Paccar motor with a Kenworth. :biggrin_25523:
I did like Detroit but been along time sense I have had one, as I have ran cummins and cat motors for a while now..

Can anyone post some pics of there trucks looking at the inside of a KW T680 or the FL Evo's I'm curious what Schneider looks like inside and the options they ordered them with. Thanks again =)

I have alot of the specs on the KW's from Sch but I have almost nothing on the the FL Evo's. Like the Transmission (13 speed ?) rears and other relevant information. Like Dash gauges and what not.

    Thanks guys :biggrin_25525:

Been gone from being a pumpkin for almost 2 years now, but from when I was there, they were all 10 speeds. Also (I could be wrong) but, I'm thinking you're gonna have to drive what ever type of rig they give you.

I'm pretty sure all the Freightshakers have 10 speeds and setup like a company truck

The lease trucks have johny bars or trailers brakes. Also a vast majority have some form of an APU. The pics of freightliners I've seen people post on here have more gauges than standard gauge package as seen on company trucks. Also, I've seen a lack of escape doors (the ones on the right side) on lease trucks.

Depends on what truck you get. If you get a used truck, something that was custom ordered that was turned back in, or something SFI took on a trade it could be anything really. The truck in my signature was an oddball they must have took on a trade, with the Cummins, extra gauge package, 13spd, diesel apu, etc. At one point there was a decked out o/o spec Peterbilt with a Cummins and an 1850ft/lb 18 speed available. Again, they must have took that one on a trade.

The new trucks (EVOs) are the exact same as company spec trucks I believe, although they aren't governed of course. I think I remember Sadwar saying that his truck was originally intended to be a company truck but for some reason or another it ended up being a lease truck instead, so they had to change some stuff back and remove the company logos. So DD15 engine, 10 speed, and by default they have a battery pack APU. If you plan to buy the truck and want put the money down they will put a diesel one on it I believe. Sadwar put pictures of his shiny new EVO in his thread, and there are some pics of the dash, etc.

    sadwar Thanks this.

As far as the company Freightliners, the only thing I'm missing is the fridge. Otherwise it seems pretty much the usual setup although I think this truck's diff is geared a little lower but this is also a different type of driving from my long haul expedited days. I've never even seen the inside of the KWs.
