Apparently SNI is now involved in a new line of business. Its called Unscheduled Gas Main Removal.

Some SNI driver took out the gas main in front of one of the US Health facilities where we can go for med cards , Pee Testing etc.

Evacuation of the Area, shut down a MAIN ROAD in mid-afternoon.

heres a tip if in Columbus/Obetz and told to go take one of the randoms or getting recert. DROP YOUR TRAILER AT OBETZ!!!!!!!!! Use the company car OR drive your tractor ONLY. Combo's CAN go behind this building BUT ONLY WHEN THE DRIVER KNOWS WTF they are doing.

If you MUST take combo , use the entrance to the west end of the building.

    That is all.

I think "#######". Even *I* know better than to believe DBLs when they tell me those places have tractor-trailer parking... I do feel kinda sorry for the driver, though. Must have been a new one, or they'd have known better.

hahahahHAHAHAHAHA I know __EXACTLY__ where this place is, I can still picture the valves sticking out of the ground because I had this SAME CRAP happen to me except well I didn't rip the main out. I got the call when I was at Obetz for the random drug test and I specifically asked "IS THERE ROOM FOR ME TO TAKE A TRAILER?" "OF COURSE!!" They answer.

First of all the name "US HEALTH" or whatever it was could correspond to any one of 15 buildings in the area. First time I got there I pulled into the health club parking lot because I figured that was where the clinic was. Nope, got chased off by the rent-a-cop, took me a good 5 minutes of doing to the wiggle wagon to get my trailer shifted over to get OUT of that lot without running over the bushes.

The rent-a-cop pointed at the entrance across the street and told me it was OK to go in there with a trailer...

LOL yeah right there is no way to make that right turn, so I went to the intersection, made a right, and had to get turned around in some parking lot next to a tiny gas station, then go back through the intersection again, then just sit there and bully my way across 4 lanes of traffic to make that left turn into the place which was the only way to make it without taking out the valves because you needed the entire street to swing out when making the turn.

    It is an absolute JOKE.

However, regardless of how stupid the place is to get in and out of, the thing I still do not understand is how these drivers manage to do something like take out a gas main?? Seriously, WTF are you thinking? Can't use mirrors? Don't feel the thing get struck?? Come on now driver...
