The flying J in Texarkana AR, pilots in Charlotte NC, Drums PA, Clinton NJ, and Sturbridge, MA. Massachusetts state law does not allow us to pump fuel into both tanks at once, therefore there's always a line of 4 or 5 trucks at each pump... What a nightmare

 

I was in a small Pilot in SC last week. I got there early and got one of those spots next to a curb and the spot on the other side very easy to back in since it's a straight shot. Benefits of driving from 1am to 11am. Pick of spots. I woke up around 7pm and turned the CB on since the place was a complete cluster F***. There was this guy on the CB doing commentary on everything. No swearing at all. He was freaking awesome. I told him I was cracking up and was very much enjoying listening to him. Tons of guys trying to get into spots and they just couldn't do it and had to leave. People doing the invent-a-spot thing until they completely closed the door on people trying to get in and out. Police finally called to kick people out who refused to leave.

Maybe I'm a bad person but I waited for an independent flatbed driver to come by before I gave up my spot at 1am. The place was still completely crazy.
