Just waiting for the right time to turn the old truck in, still waiting on some paperwork for the new truck to come in in the mail. Then I can knock a bunch of birds out with one stone when I take the old truck back down to Charlotte to turn it in. The T600 is coming along nicely, fixing one exhaust leak turned into replacing pretty much the entire exhaust system under the truck. Since it has dual exhaust that has made things even more fun, especially since the "Y" pipe is at the front of the sleeper and not at the back - twice as much rusty pipe to fix! One elbow that turns up for the stack was rotted and unfortunately not enough meat left to reuse it, so I had to order that, 8 more clamps, 4 more sections of flex pipe... should be here in a few days. Always something!

Congrats Diesel. I'm jumping to the IC side after the new year. always love reading your posts, thank you for staying humble.
mickimause Thanks this. -
hey dfo,
i've got some experience with t600s, i saw some of your questions last week in the other thread.
your headlights should be one piece (sealed), however most chrome shops sell the replacement lens housings that take interchangeable (also HID) bulbs.
those headlights kinda suck on the road at night. HIDS would be something i'd look into.
if you have a picture of the "black panel" you were talking about, i may be able to tell you. let me know.mclass555 Thanks this. -
I'm pretty handy with a 2001 Chevy Cavalier if you need a hand with one of those. Just throwing that out there.
tynodine Thanks this. -
Can't wait to hear how that beast does pulling some grades. Nice truck boss!

I have followed your threads from day one, and I must say I have enjoyed watching you succeed. The best part, at least to me, is the fact that you have made your own decisions, never waivering or letting the nay sayers influence what you felt was the right path for you.
Good for you DFO! I know that you will continue to be successful, because you have a plan, and the vision to see that plan through. I will continue to follow your threads, and root for you. This industry needs more people like you.knuckledragger, mickimause, rickybobby and 2 others Thank this.
