Nice to see how you are doing, too! I had a HUGE chicken pot pie at R Place for dinner (TA, Morris, IL) and am headed for a food coma...

Not too much to update on... ordered some parts for the exhaust last week (at this point pretty much the entire exhaust has been replaced LOL) expecting 2 day shipping like last time, turns out they had stuff in different warehouses, so the stuff sat through the weekend, and MAYBE shipped out today and MAY get here Wednesday!?! Stay tuned for exciting updates on exhaust parts!!

I have to have the Cascadia turned in by the end of this week. I'm waiting on the title to come in the mail for my new truck... NC DMV being slow as **** as usual. I want the title to come before I take the Cascadia down to Charlotte so I can take it down with me and be able to transfer the insurance and everything over to the Kenworth while I'm down there. Then rent a car back home, once insurance is on the KW I'll take it to a local shop to get a DOT inspection done and make sure it'll pass, if it all looks good THEN I'll head down to Charlotte and let the shop there to THEIR inspection and then maybe we'll FINALLY be ready to roll??? Once I'm down in Charlotte and the truck checks out then they still need to install the Qualcomm and I need to do my annual road test and also do a return to work check ride thing since I've been off for a while.

DFO, Had a thought on the qualcomm. I don't know how you feel about them drilling holes in your dash or tearing it apart and putting it back together. Just something to think about. such a nice truck would suck to have Jimbobhick that has been on the job 2 days attempt to take your truck apart.

Knight allowed me to hook up my own qualcomm it was just 2 connections into the dash wireharness and then connect the doom on the back to the main. Might be a option, depending on how picky you are. =)

    Dito, no mounts eather

Tho they are changing my old pos qualcomm out here next week, Knight has decided to move to the zonenar system. Its a wireless tablet that I can take with me into shippers with all my load info. It does a few other cool things. One thing I am looking forward to is the automatic Canada logs. It flips me over to there rules when I enter. Which is awesome sense they can drive longer and reset quicker. Catch to it tho I have to be legal when I come back to the states aka 10 hour reset.

Well finally said goodbye to the Cascadia today and turned it in at Charlotte. I will miss that truck a lot. It never left me stranded on the side of the road, not once. Hopefully it will be a good truck for the next driver or (or owner, if it is sold off).

I was told to take my EZ-Pass, permit book, and plate off and those will just transfer over to my Kenworth when I am ready. Still no title in the mail. I'm gonna call and fight with the DMV on Monday to try to figure out why it isn't here yet, they've had plenty of time to get it to me. More exhaust parts should be here Monday as well... waiting on 3 one a a half foot pieces of flex and an elbow, and that will all be done. Last thing I need to do is replace the little exhaust tube that comes out of the bottom of the Espar heater, I noticed that was torn the other day.
