I was just reading your post from a while ago (the one where you were talking about coming back to SNI and getting a new truck) I'm dabbling my feets in the water over buying a truck this year. Thanks for the welcome!

Yea I came back in April 2014 and did the 1 year lease to make sure I could run how I wanted to and needed to in order to be successful and it has been great for me.
I'm in the process of finding another truck for when my lease is up.
Not sure if it'll be another lease thru SFI but it will more than likely be an upgraded truck either way. It all depends on if I can find the truck I want. I'm not going to buy something just to get a truck I'd do another 1 year lease first.mickimause Thanks this. -
I'm glad it worked out, and good luck finding a mechanically sound money-making rolly thing with a bed. I'm not sure I want to, or if leasing would be a good move for me. I'll have 0 bills once I get back on the highway (aside from daily expenses). So I'd pretty much be buying my house. We'll see, that's a bridge I can't even see yet.
mickimause Thanks this. -
If I buy out side of SFI it will be a new one. I like CA so it needs to be carb compliant and I have never smoked so a used one is too risky as far as a previous owner having smoked in it so I don't want to take that chance. So new is what I'd get.
I have no Issue with SFI or leasing thru SFI, yes you pay more than a conventional loan but the tax advantages and flexibilty of SFI make it worth it.
If SFI can get me the truck I want then I'll go thru SFI and be happy.
SNI has been good to me and my family over the years so I'm happy with my choice to come back and Join the Choice Board.mickimause Thanks this. -
