IC Dedicated

Heard from a friend of mine today that is company driver looking to go ic.... they are telling him he can stay on his family dollar dedicated account once he makes the switch...

 

Depends on the need of the account and what's available near where you live. Usually within 90 mi or so. There are family dollar, Walmart, bulk that I know of off the top of my head. They try to keep a ratio of so many IC to company trucks/dedicated account. If that makes sense

 

Nissan out of Smyrna Tn has ic dedicated. It may be team only though. Ask for Jennifer she's a dbl on that account or was in 11

 

You see 1 or 2 IC's at most Walmart dedicated facilities so they are out there, I know I've seen at least 2 or 3 at Wintersville, OH and you see them at Gordonsville, VA. We also run dedicated out of London, KY, not sure if there are any IC's there. Of course it is possible that they just park there because they are Schneider parking facilities.

 

Otr drivers can't park at the facilities unfortunately I found out the hard way was kicked out of Gordonsville. I've been kicked out of better places than walmart so no sweat to me lol

 

You definitely can park overnight at Wintersville, OH, they don't mind, I've parked there many times. I've also parked overnight at Washington Courthouse before, that was a while ago though. Just park with all the Schneider bobtails and disappear for the night. Gordonsville, on the other hand, will kick you out.

 

I know Costco in Dallas had a couple IC's. I looked into it but decided to stick with Choice.

 

Yeah Wal-Mart has dedicated IC's.
Bedford PA is always looking.
