Once u get the automatic you'll love it. The new dt12 is still a standard tranny minus clutch pedal n long shifter handle. Youll love that tranny when your delving to the 5 Borroughs.

Except I run southeast dedicated for JCP. :biggrin_2559:

Long as I can pull start it on an incline and "lock" it into one gear when I want it to stay, I guess I'm happy.

Ill still miss that stick though...

At the end of a week when I get home, I find myself looking for the air brakes, clutch and shifter in my automatic s10...

The whole "numbering scheme" for tractors went out the window two years ago. It used to be 1xxxx and 2xxxx were bulk, 3xxxx were van gliders, 4xxxx and 5xxxx were van centurys, 6xxxx were centurys w/def and cascadias, 7-9xxxx were ICs. Some variations but worked as a whole.

Now there is no pattern I can discern.

From what I've seen its now by brand and model. 1's are internationals, 6's are century?, 3's are columbias... Haven't seen enough 2's, 4's or higher. But that's going only by what I've seen at the atlanta OC.

Anyone seen another pattern? ...I'm just going only by what I've seen here and I'm not at the OC often.

    Now Freightwrapper

You are a Choice Driver and you know better then to be taking the accounts black trailers. I was. Choice and you just don't do those things

Now you can take one, but be prepared to take it back where you got it. Just ask the choice driver who took one from York, and got half way across Ohio with it.

He was told, either take it back or Schneider would terminate his IC Choice contract. So playing the roulette wheel you can, but there is a price to pay for ignorance.

As for seeing some IC with Harley trailers, you are right. These are IC drivers on loan from the WalMart account in Gordonsville, VA

I've had one 2013 Cascadia that was 102xx, and another that was 109xx. A 2009 Cascadia that was 9xxxx. As well as 2 Centuries that were 6xxxx and 7xxxx.

Also, you can't pull dedicated trailers unless your on the dedicated account, or the dedicated account no longer exists such as emmerson trailers.
