Is Schneider in the Teamsters?

I have been thinking about making a career move and have heard or read more positive than negative things of Schneider. But I am wondering if they are Teamsters(the whole company or part of the company)?

Nope, no Teamsters union there. Schneider is a pretty good company, as far as big companies go. I trained with Schneider, and drove team and solo for them for about 3 years. Overall, I'd go back to them, if it wasn't for them requiring hazmat.

Why is Hazmat a problem? is it difficult to get in your state? Here it is just a $39 fee. $35 for the background check and $4 for the duplicate license.

Oh, and you have to take the knowledge test.

The only reason I ask is that I'm going to take the hazmat knowledge test today so I'm set with to begin training with Schneider on Nov 3. I was just hoping there wasn't a big deal hauling hazmat stuff with Schneider.

not anymore, if you have your hazmat, you better keep it, it is a 3 month waiting period while you apply for it, then you have the $99 fingerprinting
and all the fees for your background and ect, cost me about 180 buti got mine before they did the new process.
