I have also seen a couple of white Schneider tractors in the Milwaukee area. I have seen more orange Schneider tractors pulling older used white trailers with no name on them that I could see. 12-02-2008 Schneider will be having a recruiting in Racine Wisconsin. Must be fore experianced drivers. If hirings for training wouldn't have been cancelled I would be graduating from the Schneider Green Bay Wisconsin training Center tomorrow. Maybe another day.

We'd have gone with Schneider also but -- oh well -- it's worked out for the best as now we can be with grandbabies!

Black Schnieder Trucks?

Just the other day on I-20 leaving Shreveport heading back into TX I ran across a schneider driver in a Black truck with the orange stripe, I asked him what the deal was with the white& black trucks. He told me that they were given to the million milers, and then he procedded to tell me that they were all governed at 80okay...now Im hard pressed to believe anything he said, So if theres a Schnieder driver that can shed light on the new colors please do so.

Cool! There has been some chatter around here that the school shut down was temporary. Sounds like it is. Useful info to know. Keep us posted!

Don't get too excited....read the latest USXpress thread.

You're going to be competing with all those drivers.

Sure hope that isnt the case.I don't really see that working out for them but the way the economy is it would be something that alot of companies catching on to that. Also might be hearing about alot of truck drivers getting dropped off on the side of the road from not being able to sleep.GHmmm

Interesting read...... and of course, the spirit of the posts follow the typical "He Said, She Said". If ya'll hadn't read that yet, I would recommend it. It makes the mind wonder....

I just leased on with Schneider, and they are only taking on experienced drivers and o/ops. Their school is closed till next year, and they are not presently hiring any bulk/tanker drivers. And they are getting very picky in regards to who they are hiring right now.

But they do have freight, in fact quite a bit right now considering the economy. Everyone still needs toilet paper.
