You guys might try "Trucking Jobs" or "Seek Employment" for looking for a job or posting yourself.
Fresh out of school or with old experience it will take some work to get a job. You need to knock on doors. Many will want a refresher course for old experience.
There are lots of infomative threads on here if anyone uses the search feature anymore. I'm too tired to write it all for the 20th time in two months.Badboy4lyfe69 and bullhaulerswife Thank this. -
yeah I have been knocking on doors but it seems noone wants to help. And with my new daughter I dont have the money for a refresher course. I just posted because I saw a couple of owner ops on here looking for drivers. And the companies I spoke to all told me to look for owner ops or small companies to hire on. I prefer runnin O/O trucks cause there's better pay and usually better trucks.

Good afternoon,
Read your comments on the Truckers Report about newly licensed drivers and how they're being taken advantage of by the major carriers.
I would like to find an owner operator to accumulate hours with in order to purchase my own vehicle(s) perhaps to work in unison with. I've always worked for myself whereby controlling my own destiny and not letting someone else take the profits. Determination, hard work and drive can make small.....become BIG.
Recently relocated from Boston to the greater Dallas Metroplex in order for my wife to complete her University retirement requirements.
Previously owned and operated a wholesale distributing company running a fleet of 67 trucks (Class B) which I sold prior to moving.
I've always through of driving a truck as I enjoy the independence and the desire to travel.
Recently obtained my Class A CDL and wish to investigate any potential interest and/or opportunities with aggresive owner/operator.
Sincerely
JR -
