I started driving for Swift Trans back in 02/2011. Since, I have been primarily over the road, but do have 6 months experience driving in and within the boroughs of NYC. My record is clean: no accidents, no CSA points, etc. I am looking for something that could get me home a little more than once every other month, and a company that treats its drivers with respect. I live in the Florida Panhandle now. If you are interested, please inbox me. I am not your average sit at the truck stop and complain driver, if there is money to get, I am out getting it. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Just depends who you want to go with. Local or OTR, their are several logging companies in your area, I believe. Google local trucking companies in Tallahassee and see what comes up.

Just depends on what kind of a living you're wanting to make, and if you want to be local or regional. Cypress out of Jax is a pretty decent outfit, there's 3 guys that I know of living in Tally that have been with them for a while and get home every weekend. I worked for Pritchett over 3 years hauling trash out of the transfer station, stop in there on your hometime and speak with Laird, tell him you spoke with Zach, you never know when they're in the need for drivers. Mackenzie tank lines has a terminal there in Tally, and one in St.Marks, they hire local and pay a pretty decent wage. Ernie Jaworski was running an add last week for dump drivers in Crawfordville, not the best equipment or pay but it's home every night and pretty steady. I could list more companies that I have insite on if you'd like, but for now those few should atleast be a start.
