    Hi I'm a Aussie truck driver with over 21 years experience driving triple road trains in excess of 120 tonne.
    ive done everything from logging, fridge, flattop to oversize.
    im shifting to maryland around the start of October and looking for specialized work or flat top work.
    can anyone help me with a good company to apply to.
    ive looked at tmc but not to interested in doing 8 weeks training when I've already got experience

    Welcome to the forum Homer. Though you have plenty of experience, it is not documented in this country. A company will want to test your abilities. They might send you out with a trainer until he evaluates you.

    You'll have to get a work VISA and a non-resident CDL. There are several large companies you could contact. Read the Motor Carrier Inside Scoop forum. The bigger popular companies have their own forums. That will give you a place to start looking. Google the company names to find their website and employment opportunities. Good Luck!

    Thanks for that I will have a work visa hopefully by then as my wife is getting transferred with her work.
    The only problem I see will be driving on the other side of the road to what I'm used to but a few miles in a car will help that for start.
