I live just north of Asheville NC.

The good: stable, reliable, sane, mature. I don't wear flip flops and gym clothes to work. I represent the company in a courteous and professional manner.

I'm safe but run as hard as legally allowed. My preference would to be out 3 weeks and home 3 days.

I know all the letters and most numbers. :) I have a good education. I have a technology and business background. I also sold my soul to the military for 20 years, so I know how to follow instructions. I have a background in safety and instructional methodology.

No marks on my driving record.

Full disclosure, I have a misdemeanor from 2007. A guy said he was gonna beat me up. I believed him so I didn't wait for him to start.

The bad: Although, I'm good at this job I don't have much experience. I started at a mega carrier for beginners pay in Aug. and this looks like a dead end job. I won't name or complain. They put me to work and for that I'm grateful. However, it is time to climb a couple rungs.

I'm a vet and my left knee won't take 4 hours on a clutch around DC anymore. I don't complain and you would never know but I don't enjoy pain = automated shift please.

Ideally, I'd like a smaller company with phones that work, plenty of freight, and an appreciation of drivers that keep their doors closed and their mouthes shut. Also, I'd prefer something to drive that is not an embarrassment to me or the company.

So, if you need a professional to haul freight safely (as opposed to just holding the wheel) and represent professionally, I'm ready to move up.

I just came up through Asheville. Took 26 all the way up to Kingsport then I went over to Knoxville. Now I'm in Indiana. That's some pretty country in your area.
