    Hello,
My name is Danny. I live in Virginia Beach, VA. I've been in the trucking industry for about 2 years now. I went to a major carrier right out of trucking school in Dec. of 2012 and was there until Feb. 2014. I have a little over a year OTR with them but took a local job as a yard jockey in Feb. 2014, So I haven't been in a big truck for a year. However, I do work with reefers, dry vans and containers everyday. I prefer not to go with one of the larger companies but it seems like that's all that hires in this area and I'm just trying to see what else is out there. So here's some info about me and what I'm looking for.

1 year OTR in the last 3 (pulled dry van and reefer)
1 year as a yard jockey (current job)
Class A with no endorsements (willing to obtain hazmat if needed)
I don't have a passport or twic and prefer not to go into Canada if possible
Would like to stay out 3 to 5 weeks at a time with 3 to 5 days home
I prefer a company that has Apu's and allows inverters since i'll basically be living in the truck but I'm open to hear how your company equips the trucks.

I've been general in my post because I know everything has to be verified and I'm flexible to meet the company needs. I just want to be comfortable in the truck, have decent pay and a decent truck to keep me rolling.

Danny see if you can get hired in small company like 5-15 trucks they will care about you more then big company .Take refreshing class like 7 days over the road and you will be ok.
