Recent CDL grad needs work in FL!

I'm in DIRE need of an employer!

I'm living in Gainesville, FL.

If you know of ANY driving jobs for a recent class A grad in north central FL, please, let me know.

Yes, I've been trying the bigger trucking companies but they're not biting.

I'm now attempting to turn my attention to the smaller/in-state companies.

The pickings are rather slim because I'm unfamiliar with the area/state (only lived here since 2005) and I'm not finding many companies with an online presence.

Well, TIA for any help you can provide...

Are you tied to Gainsville? I am looking for someone to team up with to drive for Schneider. I am in Valdosta, Ga though and they won't currently hire out of Florida as far as I know.

Tried there, they require HAZMAT endorsements and I can't afford the fees associated with getting it. I was HAZMAT certified while in the Navy but it has been expired for some time now.

They also require 6 months OTR within the past 12 months which I also don't qualify for.

Check with US Xpress, I am on a dedicated account with them for Family Dollar. I know they might have some openings as JB Hunt just pulled out 10 drivers and we got them. It is hand unload freight, but home every weekend and good money.
