My team mate has a cooler so we eat sandwiches during the day and cereal for breakfast and will eat one meal out sometimes, or just another sandwich for dinner.
You need to do something because it gets way too expensive, even off the $1 menu at McD, you are spending over $10 a day for 3 meals, it gets expensive...

I did someplace, lol.

It is a private guy, owns 5 trucks, they are leased on with Chicago Trans and we obviously haul FedEx.

He said the company name is USA Truck.

You need to read the cooking in truck section... Invest in a luch box cooker or microwave. There are lots of good ideas on the forum for food...

I am really happy you landed a job. You worked hard # looking for it. I too am trying to stay away from the big training compnaies for work..

Thanks Judith,

Right now I am just happy to be working. From Oct. 22 until Monday Nov.2 we had over 10,000 miles, but I had a Kamikaze deer attack the truck so it is being repaired now and should be done tonight or tomorrow and we can get back out on the road.

When I was looking, I didn't care what company it was with towards the end, I just wanted to be working. The company I am with now seems very good. Nice people, easy to talk to.

Take care, Larz

NEVER SAY THAT!!! The deer or elk hit YOU! Sometimes wording can make a huge difference.

This way it is a non chargeable accident.

Hey how's Fedex Natl. LTL working out for you?
I worked for them out of ORL and before that, Watkins. I miss working there and regret ever leaving. Wish I knew then what I know now.
