Hang in there bud.... you sound like a good guy with a great determination for getting into this field... just keep pounding on doors, and something will breakfor you. good luck brother....

I am also looking to get back on the road. I have had my cdl since 1992 drove with JB, Us Express, TRL, Schneider. drove alot of local in the 90"s also. I haven't drove otr sice 2004, but around harvest time I was going up to wisconsin and helping out a friend of a friend harvesting his crops. but that is not verifiable experience according to most of the company's I have talked with.... And they are wanting me to do the school thing over again . I cant see going through a 150 hr school when i already have a cdl with all endorsements, and a current medical card. (Dont make since to me.. ) So I thought i would see if any O/O is looking for a GOOD driver. I have no accidents, I have one speeding ticket , (that was in my pickup truck) that should almost be coming off.

I am a good driver looking to make an honest buck. I have been devorced for about a year now, and that was one of the reason i came off the road. So the hometime thing is not as important. I live in the Knoxville, TN area, so if anyone is looking / or knows of somebody looking , I would really appreciate the opprotunity to get back on the road without going through the driver mills..... I am willing to team or solo . I am very easy to get along with, and could be a great partner for team.

Thanks for any replies and ya'all be safe out there......

well all honesty it was a shot in the dark, some people on here tryed to warn me ( medman) he was somewhat right, but my situation is differnt like each one here is differnt and were all trying to reach the same goal, so as luck would have it i do know how to do more than drive a truck, and no disrespect ment to anyone that drives a truck,it can and use to be a good honest liveing, but with rates the way they are and the economy getting ready to take another dump,,,it is what it is and survival is the name of the game,,,good luck to you all and ill check in from time to time the dino
