I generally have pretty good luck at Wal Mart, and we deliver to them quite often throughout Texas and the Southeast.

I have had my bad times with them in the past though, especially one of the DC's up in New York.

I've been to the DC's in loveland, one in NE, and another in NY. And I always check in early, and every time they radio to ask if they can take me early. Sometimes they can, sometimes they can't. Getting mad won't help me in the long run because I will be back there eventually.

But here is the best Walmart DC story I have. I was on the very end of the freezer side. Which is all the way on the end. I see the light turn from red to green. So I walk the half a mile to the receiving office, and I am standing
inside just hanging out waiting to hear the call. The woman picks up the CB mic and says, "Door XX", I speak loudly, "Go ahead.". She pauses for a second, "Door XX". and I say "Go ahead". "Are you in the hallway?". It's the only good story I have, otherwise its just another place to deliver.

Things like this are exactly why I don't want to haul dry van or reefer ever again. If we were as slow at our jobs as these people, we'd be gone...but then, we're actually expected to do something for our pay(what a concept!).

Think I'll get my HM and pull liquid hydrogen. It's bound to be less stress.
