| I was self employed before being a truck driver in direct customer service. I know all about the "customer is always right" deal. That being said even then I had customers that I knew we would never see eye to eye and chose to part ways with. All of my written contracts had a clause stating that either party could cancel the contract with a 2 week notice for any reason. I had one or two that I gave the money back for a project I had done and told them that we weren't going to be happy with each other, here was their money and to please not call me again. |

| (sigh) No, no, no. I was simply attempting to back you up. The situations that were discussed here are unfortunate, but as I said, until something changes at the Federal level the status quo will persist. Must you be so insecure?

| Thanks a lot,PRo1driver. Now I know which company to avoid delivering to.BTW,Im an O/O also. Company drivers can also have some leeway by NOT driving for a carrier that miscommunicates their pickup and delivery time windows, especially when it involves an anal customer with a lack of parking. There is already a parking shortage across some areas of the country, thanks to the idiot truck stop operators that seem to believe that there is no parking shortage. I usually avoid any areas of the country or truckstops that are known to have parking shortages anyway.

I think insecurity has some thing to do with you not having very many friends. |
