Unilever is one of the worst I have been to here in Atlanta. It's a known fact that you'll be there for 5 or more hours. My worst was 9 hours there, but one other guy was there for 16.

Two of the better ones in the Atlanta area are Quaker on Westgate, and Kelloggs on Hunter Road. Both can get you loaded and out of the gate in less than 2 hours most of the time.

No, not in Palmetto. It's their oil products plant in Atlanta. They produce refrigerated Shedd's Spread and other spreads.

On this topic, have you every thanked a shipper/reciever for a quick load/unload?

I did just recently and the response I got was "the guy that runs shipping/receiving trys hard to make sure the guys don't have to wait. I told the forklift guy to make sure to tell his boss that I noticed the effort."

another good shipper: Kraft Foods on Best Friend Rd in Norcross, GA (ATL)

I have been here many times now, and have only had to wait longer than 2 hours to get loaded ONCE. That one time was still less than 4 hours. Not sure what was wrong that day.

The people there are always in a decent mood, never rude, and have paperwork ready in a timely manner. Lots of room on the lot, and easily accessible from I-85.

Bathrooms aren't the cleanest, but then again, whose are?

I had a teenager tell me I needed to hurry up when I was helping them unload at an HH Gregg(murfreesboro TN). So I did. Then walking back with an empty hand truck his boss says, you need to run. Of course I didn't. I guess they felt like I should earn my fifteen dollars.

Ja. There's no way they could know it, but my aunt's a type of executive 'trouble shooter' for their corporate H.R. guy in Bentonville, Ar. I was truly surprised and impressed with the folks at the Grandview, WA. wal-mart D.C. My load there was already late when I was assigned to it, so 2 days later...... When I got there, they were very apologetic about it but said they'd get to me "when they could" Turned out to be 40mins. (maybe was a priority product) When I emptied, and went in, they again apologized for how long it took! Called my Aunt later that day, and told her bout it. Asked her to pass my compliments on to..... Well whoever's appropriate. lol. Was a nice change from how many of the D.C.'s are run.

    Heart best shipper/reciever

Actually, not many will agree with me,but I think Walmart, because I have never had to sit more than an hour to load or unload at the dc and stores. And now, being affiliated with Walmart,I see how they will throw things out when a power outage comes, instead of still selling the stuff like winn dixie would. Our walmart had a power outage not too long ago,and they tossed out well over 100,000.00 in perishable foods.
