Just wanna clear something up here, not paying for someone to unload your truck if it was NOT in your original agreement is one thing......to take FAKE documents to court is the part that I had/have the problem with, that is WRONG.

I understand the challenges, and backstabbing that go on in this industry, so please dont think I am saying everything you did was wrong.

No malice intended or to be inferred:

luvmyhubby,

Nobody is perfect and the ones that claim they are, aren't, statistically speaking of course.
I'm not, never was and shall never be perfect in this dimension.
There ARE unscrupulous people about including many if not all factions of our governing bodies. These type folk are always wanting to get over on people so getting back at even one is an accomplishment in and of itself.

WE THE PEOPLE do not need to feel as if there are no recourses to actions that appear as there are no alternate routes or the "you don't have a choice" baloney. Whenever WE can deviate from the "normal", it is in our best interest to do so as long as the alternate route does not incur additional ramifications in the negative. WE ALL make choices everyday constantly, where some are good and some are bad, WE still are free to do so!!

end of line.....

There is no way in the world that I would have stayed that long. At the least you could have called the cops on them for holding you against your will.
I am serious there is no way I would have stayed that long. But because every one does what they (shippers) says they have to with out a fight then the shippers have no incentive to change their nonsense ways.

Forbidden Exclamation COSTCO

COSTCO,

Im sure theirs others that might have the same policy of making u wait away from your truck while they load/unload.But at one CostCo in particular she wouldnt even let me stand outside to smoke a cigarette.
I offered to unhook,gi ve her my keys, whatever she needed but I was very close 2 telling her to ####off and they would find another driver 2 deliver.

We cant let em treat us like children and We(I) will demand some respect if they would like the same.

Big Lots - Montgomery, AL....

9 hours to unload 20 pallets of potato chips.

I was there an hour before my appt time and they told me to come back at my appt.

I came back 15 minutes prior and they let me in.... That was at 2pm.... It was around midnight before I got out.

If there's a section for bad brokers to deal with... I have one I will never deal with again... The main company yes, the agent no...

HEB San Antonio, Kelloggs (or whatever logistics)in Garland,TX, Domtar in Ashdown, AR and Woodland, ME (waited at both for over a day) Victor-Sun in Philadelphia, Food Lion in Montgomery, AL, Geogia-Pacific in Rincon, GA and a paper mill in Big Island, VA, I've sat and waited at all these places for at least a day. Not very driver friendly either.

I have 2 that we'll never go back to again, but if I had to pick just one I'd have to say the Kroger Distribution Warehouse in Lebanon, IN. 6:00pm dock appointment and we arrived at 5:30 and sat in their waiting area for a door. Finally got a door at 7:45pm and the lumper service charged us $165 to unload it. It was unloaded by 8:30pm, BUT there is only one person per shift to check in all the inbound freight so we had to sit there till 4am the next morning when the guy finally got to our door to check in our stuff. Definately one of those Never again places...

Lumpers need to be lumped...

Lets see, there have been so many, the best and brightest that come to mind are:
Costco, Morris IL, can't sit in the truck have to wait in the 'driver area' which is uncomfortable, and of course they are slow!
Some DC in Dunmore,PA: arrived at 0545 for a 0600 appt. Got a door, and backed in by 0630. Lumper arrived from Labor ready around 0730, began unloading around 0930 (because the dock was covered with product that night shift hadn't put away). Load was lumped and checked by 1545, i was underway shortly after.
Ameriwood, Tiffin OH: got there at 1600, they had trucks in the docks, so I had to wait. They said they would come out and get me when ready. Woke up at 1945, they only had one truck in the dock, so I went in and they went ahead and gave me a door (without an apology, even thought I asked them what the F gives!?). Didn't start loading me until 2130, when I went back in and asked why they weren't putting product on yet, I was told they forgot and weren't sure which door I was in ( BTW, they only have a few doors, so someone could have poked their head outside and looked) and was done by 2230- I was picking up the second stop on a drop load for Target, Galesburg MI.

I'm suprised Campbell's is here, I have loaded out of there many times and only once did it take four hours, usually it was around one to two hours.

the worst recievers i have had misfortune with

i was on my way south from bellingham WA driving for May. i recieved a preload order for shipment to pick up on thurs and i was fast aproaching my 70.
the order was for live load from halsey OR to Chino Ca Georga Pacific. i call dispatcher on qual comm telling her i dont have hours to make the run which was Due on Fri 1pm Pst i had about enough to finish run i was on and couple to spare. 3 or so i informed my dispatcher of said time limit and could not take run becasue not enough hours to make the deadline. she says OH you can make it. i said no and i only got 10 the next day for driving less the time wasted going back to the yard for some down time i did infact only have 45 minutes to get from salem OR to halsey which is cutting real close. dispatch said they would inform reciever of late status on load and i agreed to get to chino asap. with hours i picked up on fri and break i got on road early on sat and made drop at 6 am with in the outside window of the contract for being late. I was sent to wrong building not once but twice and i finally found entrance to the dock area and was told they would not sign bill until i moved several trailers for them which i did under duress i believe it was called extortion. then got held in there yard for my 10 with not a single word from dispatcher. finally i made call and told them i will take load back up to oregon upon which they knew i was very agitated not wanting to dead head and loose money i went to san bern to get another trailer and had to wait there to finish my 10 upon which i beat feet back to Salem OR to drop trailer and truck. they had the nerve to ask if i would take a few days off and come back. after being asked to run illeagal and late and then being extorted by GP in chino. well that is my Two bits for May and for GP in chino CA. NO THANK U lead dispatcher was lucky I had 2 days to cool off on trip back to Brooks Yard. OMG asking me to run truck at 66 mph in truck governed for 65 DUH. !!! then they treaten with service failure on DAC.
WOW hard to believe they can even find drivers

Its ok man I aint skeered !!!! My lawyer, accountant, X IRS agent who enjoys putting these large corperations in their place said there is nothing they can do now as we walked out of the courtroom. Kinda like O.J. cant be charged with murdering his wife again. Even if he gets on tv and admitted to it. Its a done deal. I won and had the same eatin grin on my face O.J. did when the verdict was read. This has been so many years now the statue of limitations has run out anyhow...

Ya know that is just way beyond wrong, and if anyone finds out about it you could be in some serious trouble I would think!.....having a problem and getting the courts to solve it is one thing, to rip of anyone with faked documents is in no way for any reason even close to being ok.

Im sorry you feel that way Luv. I didnt feel bad for even the slightest second and i never will!!!! Im in this business to make money and nothing else. A contract is a contract and i met my end of it and they didnt. As it stands with all the miles and time that i put in to it all the only thing recived was getting a decent wage that i could have made hauling other freight rather than screwing around with these idiots. That truck and trailer sat for 3 weeks with a load on it (i was only reimbursed in storage fees that a warehouse would charge) I kept fuel in the reefer to keep the product from going bad ( which cost me money) Lawyers aint cheap ( he cost me money ) Spent 2 days in court ( which cost me money). The point is when i showed up at my appointment time and backed up to the dock. My job was done and my contract was met. These people brought this on themselves (by broker not wanting to pay the lumper fee and by wal mart for even trying to charge to unload their own freight) ...........

If your hubby went out and spent just under a million dollars on equipment, signed a contract to do a job with it with one person or company. Completed that job, and was then told by another person from another company that he had to give them a cut of that money. Would he pay it like the rest of the sheep or would he fight to keep what is rightfulley his??????????????

If these wanna be supertrucking low freight rate grocery haulers dont grow any balls and stand up for themselves all they are ever gonna be is a sheep and they are gonna do what everyone else does. Which is mostly whine about how much it cost them to unload , how long they had to wait , how they aint making any money( because they leased on to someone who only pays so much a mile) , How long they have to be away from home just to make a little money, Etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.

Im sorry but i cant be a sheep and i learned long time ago that i have to fight for what is mine and after that fight im gonna keep it!!!!!!!!

And by the way that broker is out of business ( probably back in business under another name jacking someone else around) And im still here doing it my way and charging more money than ever.....
They can reopen the case because what you are talking about is a civil case, not a criminal case. They also could (and will if you caught) charge you with perjury. Perjury would be tried in a criminal court.
