got here at 1 am all locked doors called they said pull up by door 3 we will get u next we will come get your seals when we are ready
20 minutes of manuvering to get in the door then wait 2 hours
go back upstairs guy is playing solitaire says "we told you you were next what's your problem" OH WELL been sitting on this load for 31 hours now with 1 hour of driving must just be my lucky day
they can say what they want about wally world but you show up when your suppose to they unload you and you move on

Not all are... Walgreens DCs totally suck. Dollar General isn't far behind.

 

Almost every food Company and Dollar stores, and Pharmacy chains suck. For some reason they all love to make truckers wait hours to conduct any business with them.
Its one of those mysteries that no one will ever figure out.

And, BTW, how is Walmart the only company in this category that has figured out how to get a truck in and out quick? All of their loads were drop and hook, when i drove for USA Truck.

 

costco has wal mart beet, even for live unloads.

These people are idiots. Visit these fine folks 2-3 times a week.
Not joking. Try to get the security guards to ban me. They think i'm funny and welcome me back. I tell my boss about each incident and he laughs.

They #### up every everything. from the BOL to where my pickup is. EVERY #### TIME !

The load pays well ( i get pay per load ). of course i'm the only idiot who does it because the other driver found a way to get out of doing it. One account we can do without and i can live without it.

I can't say what i pickup and deliver. It's not UPS etc...

I went to Atlas tube in Chicago last week. I showed up and checked in at 1000 am, was told to pull
around to door 14 and give my papers to the guy back there. So I pulled around and went into the "office". No one was around anywhere. A few guys passes and I asked what to do with the paperwork. They stated that they were on break and walked away!

So I waited around 30 minutes and a guy told me to set the papers on the table and go wait in the truck.

So around after 1200 I went back in to see what was the deal. No one was aorund and the paperwork was still laying there along with some paperwork from the other trucks who had been there since 0700 am.

After lunch breaks, coffee breaks and jack off time the union workers got, I had to sit and wait while they changed shifts which took a long time. Finally at 1640 pm a guy came and told me to move down to another door. They put 4 pipes on and told me to door 8. Went to door 8 and again sat until 2030 pm and got pulled in. After an hour they took the pipes off and again I sat. Around 2130 pm they started putting stuff on me and then took it all back off. Finally at 2245 pm I got to pull out and tarp all their junk. I pulled out of their gate at 2330 pm.

I was beyond unhappy. So they went after them to get detention pay. They claimed I did not get there until 1015 am. After some arguing and what not, they offered $100. Whoo hoo a whopping $7 and some change an hour.

So to find out the load had been set aside and 15-20 other loads had been stacked on top of mine.

 

Every Costco I've been to...the latest being Mira Loma, CA....has got me out in less than an hour from my appointment time. Live unloads, too...no d/h.
