Just a warning ... Pioneer has no regard for appointment time, driver/company log concerns, or the driver's themselves. I'm generally a very patient driver and will put up with a lot of bull #### at shippers and consignees and lumper services, as I take it with the job, but Pioneer (in San Antonio) has demonstrated a COMPLETE disregard for drivers who haul their product, to a whole new level I have not experienced in several years. After talking to other drivers, I find this is typical (not even beginning to load until 6-9 hours past the appointment), no easily accessible rest rooms or break room.

They load 1 truck at a time and there seems to be no real rhyme or reason to what order they load them. It's heavily unionized and they seem to give preference to drivers who work for a unionized company, otherwise, you're screwed.

I will be fired before accepting another load from Pioneer Flour. I doubt detention will be paid as this is a "customer pick up" load and my company does not want to rock the boat. But I will tell them just what I told you here and they can do with that information what they will.

... arrived 14:30 for a 15:00. at 20:45 they dropped the dock plate in.

Their attitude is typical of a certain population segment in this town, and being unionized just adds to it.
