Make contacts with shippers, receivers, other truckers, always do a favor to someone when you can, that helps build relationships that will get you work later. Get a reputation for doing a good job,learn to network. Find out about and join OOIDA. They have a lot of info for O/O's, and are very helpful in getting you started. Do not purchase another truck until you figure things out,very few people make more money when they add one more truck. just way more headaches.
