I'm thinking I loaded there one time. I don't for sure remember the name, but there was a tube place in chicago that I had to go to 3 different buildings to get my load. Scale and then tarp. I know it took far too long.

I pick up about half a block north of there on Western at Chicago Sweeteners. Seems to me that it is one of the slowest sugar loadouts I know of, and I am usually there for an hour getting loaded. Guess I can't complain if the place down the street takes 5-6 hours.

You think it's in the water or airborne?

Actually, I can;t really complain about the time it takes. The system works okay, but they are unloading directly out of the rail car, and it only runs so fast. if they dump into me out of an overhead silo, then I am only looking at about a ten minute load out, maybe 15 at the most. That;s what makes it seem slow, the comparison.

Much faster. If the silo is full, they drop it in and I am loaded within minutes. In the other system, they are gravity feeding out of a railcar, then it goes into a silo, then drops into the truck. If I do it myself, pressure pumping out of a railcar, I can load 50,000 pounds in about 40-45 minutes.

Only loaded there one time. Can't complain. Got there at 4:30 am and was out of hours. They let me park there and didn't bother me at all. Told me to sleep till I was ready to load. Then took about 2 hours after I got checked in.

5 hours at Wheatland, lol, that's not bad. Dropping your trailer in that building is like dropping a sock in the dryer. You are not sure you will ever see it again.

Went there a couple weeks ago to pickup a load for Santa Fe Springs, CA .... the appt was for 300 pm ... got there at 400 am .... checked in at 500 am .... started loading us at 700 am .... done loading by 1000 am .... they werent done getting the second half of the load prepped seeing we were there 10 hours early

And unless you know Polish .... there is only one guy that will talk to you while they are loading and that is hard
