Just an FYI... Make sure you don't drink to much water before you get here... There are no facilities available for drivers!!

Appt. was for 1300, now 1500 and not even backed to the dock yet...

Can I say I'm getting pissed?? (Pun intended)

if a place does not provide facilities for drivers, that means that they are ok with you peeing in the lot. At least that's how I interpret a lack of facilities.

man, woman, does it really make a difference?????????????????????

when you gonna spread your wings and break away from that crap corridor and the west coast CRAWL speed?

the faster you go. the faster you haul your load. the more loads you can haul. the more money you make.
the less traffic there is. the less time you spend fighting the dogs on the freeway. the faster you can go. and deliver your load.

you'll double your income by breaking away from california. the rest of the country dn't have 40 million people in 5 square miles doig 5 mph on the freeway.
    the rates are better. too.

You might consider buying a port a pottie for the truck. I bought one for my truck when I was running Canada. The place where I delivered would not allow drivers to use their facilities and it would have been difficult to go outside their warehouse due to close proximity to other businesses. It later came in handy when my wife traveled with me. You can pick them up at most sporting goods stores or (gasp) Walmart. I still keep it in the truck for an "emergency."

Hi fr8, HA, I hear ya. There would definitely be a shortage when that load got delivered, although it would be imperitive that there were facilities at the delivery place. :biggrin_25524:

We do have a portapot, but it should just be needed in emergencies... Not when we are at a business location... I would have been happy with a 'maintained' blue room if they don't want 'truckers' in their office.

LOL Snowwy... We never un-governed our truck... Still set at 65... We are trying to stay West Coast because of Klingon's brother... Health issues...
