This is by far the WORST shipper I've ever dealt with and it's been more than once.

First time I arrived 15 minutes early.. ending being detained for over 11 hours because they booked for a truck when they didn't even have the product to ship out yet.
Once loaded they demanded I sign a form that said I was nearly two hours late in order to release my bills.
I refused and sat on the load in their lot for another 12 hours until they changed their paperwork saying I was on time (which I had proof of).
That same day another driver from my company was there, he was detained 13 hours.

I am here again, been sitting in a dock for four hours and nothing doing.
My company calls asking WTF is going on, the shipper said I'm supposed to be in a door but they can't find me.
I've been in a door for all of 4 hours and told my company that before my company called the shipper.
Once again the shipper lied trying to blame everything on the truck driver.

This place is terrible, never come here.
They will detained you forever... LIE and try to make you sign paperwork that you were late in order to get your bills.

That will continue until trucking companies refuse to haul their freight or raise their rates so high they stop abusing the drivers.

I have a few few that I will not haul from or to...period, because of abuse.

They try to wear the driver down so he will sign the form just to leave the place. You made the right decision. What happens is, when a driver signs the form that he was late, the shipper, Interstate Warehousing, recoups part of their shipping costs because they fine the trucking company for being late. If it's a broker load, the broker also recoups part of his costs from fines. It's a form of extortion.

This is TRULY & GENUINELY a "caught between a rock and a heartbeat" situation, not to mention a HORRIBLE situation for the truck driver to be in.

    1) If the driver gets worn down and signs the FALSIFIED paperwork saying that he or she was late, the driver risks punishment or termination from his or her employer because of the fines his or her employer receives.

    2) If the driver does NOT sign the FALSIFIED paperwork saying that he or she was late, the driver is detained for an incredible amount of time, causing the driver to be unable to do the rest of his or job, which can also cause the driver to be punished or terminated from his or her job.
